Review Integrity Policy

The value of RatedbyLeaders rests entirely on the integrity of its reviews. These are the rules that protect it.

Who can review

Only genuine participants: people who personally paid for, attended or completed the programme, coaching, course, event or membership they are reviewing. Reviews from employees, owners, family members or competitors of the company being reviewed are prohibited and removed.

Verification standards

• 100% Verified: the reviewer has provided proof of participation (receipt, invoice, certificate, booking confirmation or equivalent) which our team has checked.
• Unverified: the review is from a registered, identity-checked reviewer but without documentary proof of participation. These reviews are clearly labelled and carry less weight in scoring.

The challenge process

Companies on a paid plan can formally challenge any unverified review. When challenged, we contact the reviewer and request proof or further detail. If neither is forthcoming within 14 days, the review is removed. Verified reviews can only be challenged on grounds of authenticity fraud, and we investigate every such claim.

What gets removed

• Fake or fabricated reviews
• Incentivised reviews (paid for, rewarded or solicited in exchange for positive coverage)
• Reviews written by competitors or with a commercial conflict
• Defamatory content, personal attacks on named individuals, or discriminatory language
• Reviews that disclose confidential or personal information about third parties

What never gets removed

Honest, critical reviews. A company being unhappy with a review is not grounds for removal. We do not remove negative reviews at a company's request, at any subscription tier, for any payment. Ever.

Review content standards

Reviews should be specific, honest and first-hand. Strong criticism is welcome; abuse is not. We may edit reviews only to redact personal data or unlawful content, never to soften criticism or alter meaning, and any redaction is marked.

Reporting a review

Anyone can report a review they believe breaches this policy through the enquiry form on our homepage. Every report is investigated by a human.
